Course Overview

The curriculum in the CDA and erstwhile Early Childhood Champions (ECC) programs has been evolving based on evidence-based practices applied globally, and we felt the need to continue sharing these with our past participants. Hence, this is a continued education series which was started for individuals (primarily community workers and their supervisors) who have completed Ummeed’s past CDA and ECC training programs.

Ongoing series of six sessions over six months (one session per month).
The sessions will be in an online virtual format.

Objectives:
Hope to create a platform for our CDA and the erstwhile ECC trained workers to:
connect, share and learn from each other
refresh their knowledge and skills related to promoting early childhood development, picking up delays and disabilities early, and offering community-based interventions.
create a space for them to bring their experiences to share with other organizations
learn about applying the concepts to their practices
